Walk The Talk !

Never to simply talk and simply to go,
Talk and do,do and talk despite any woe,
Words and actions do match and follow,
Speak words with grace, never be shallow.

Mean what you talk, talk what you mean,
Walk the talk, you 'll never be a hypocrite,
Keep promises to make life ever green
Commit to action you will ever find delight,

Whoever walks the talk creates history,
Parents, leaders and all,do walk the talk,
Wins hearts beyond seas and geography,
See,all will emulate and talk on your walk,

You can walk, yet don't walk your talk,
But I can't walk,yet I do walk my talk.

Haiku On Haiti !

Carribean a tree
Just one red lonely leaf
Haiti bleeds.

Earthquake rocks,
Wailing from debris,
Haiti cries.

Huge banyan tree falls,
Homeless birds,
Uprooted Haiti.

Sorrowing moor,
Clouds hang on Haiti,
Autumn deepens.

Naked children,
Poverty another name,
Haiti suffers.

No cicada's cry,
Disastrous calm,
Haiti a graveyard.

When God Battles For You !

Victory is cock sure as dawn on cock's crow,
There would be shine,no eclipse anywhere,
Rain is certain from pregnant clouds also
Enemy clamours to cease,to exit, never to dare.

On war field a shepherd boy unarmed stood,
With only a staff, sling and five smooth stones,
Goliath thundered laughter to fall like a wood,
Not knowing the boy would break all his bones

"Let all the earth know, there is a God in Israel,
From his sling, struck Goliath,he fell to the mud,
"The battle is God's,He saves a stone did rattle,
With Goliath's sword he cut off the giant's head.

Saul wondered and asked,"Whose son is he?"
"I'm David the son of your servant Jesse."

Haiti Is Crying !

Haiti needs to pray and pray together,
The earthquake hits the Caribbean nation,
Poor Caribbean nation so quickly made poorer,
Nine million desperately needs compassion,

Piled bodies along the devastated streets,
Tens of thousands lost their dear home,
Wailing,from the debris mournfully greets
Without shelter on the streets they roam.

Earthquake the strongest in two hundred years,
Even the Presidential Palace stands in ruin,
Ruins, debris and damages claim more tears,
No hospitals to handle the wounded victims in

Haiti is crying, none to comfort,oh!none
Each one grieves with out the loved one.

Jerusalem To Jericho !

The most despised Samaritan but chose,
To go such an high by loving his neighbour,
To inherit eternal life, thereby he rose,
Created history as Good Samaritan for ever.

A Jew on a trip, from Jerusalem to Jericho,
Saw a man half dead on the way beside,
Caught in the midst, bandids attacked him,Lo!
A Priest,a Levite seeing went on to other side.

A Samaritan alone, showed pity on the victim,
Took him on his donkey, admitted him in an inn,
Soothed wounds with oil and wine, bandaged him,
Paid two silver, promised to pay any on return.

Jerusalem to Jericho" kindness did bestow,
But Samaritan to racism dealt a death blow !

" Where Are The Nine ? "

Gratitude,a preface of virtues so deep,
That dwells in the heart of mankind,
If"thanks" due,pay and then go to sleep,
Ingratitude,a sin grievous and unkind.

In a village ten lepers on seeing Jesus,
At once cried for mercy and grace,
Exclaimed," Jesus have mercy on us"
Favour big or small, with thanks embrace.

Out of the ten,one Samaritan leper came,
Jesus asked," But where are the nine?"
He only gave thanks, glorified God's name,
A concern of the shepherd,a gesture divine.

Sin of Ingratitude will never make us shine,
Remember the words,"Where are the nine?"

Go Away 2009 !

The year very much obsessed with misery,
A set of new woes spread far and wide,
Recession,depression,fraud and bankruptcy,
Became unsurmountable new tide.

Inflation,job losses and stimulus package,
All new names for financial meltdown,
A new kind of nuclear arsenal in this age,
Even global streets were going down.

No joy of spring, ruled sorrow of winter,
After turn of autumn,we hoped for bloom,
Old homes gone,no new homes to enter,
So sad a year with full of biting gloom.

Oh! "The Year Two Thousand Nine" go away,
Do not come again on any other day.

Message From Mount Calvary !

Fall due to my sin was so much certain,
I lifted up mine eyes to the hills,
But blessings came from the mountain,
Healings came according to my wills.

The hero and the king of Mt Calvary,
For my sins shed His precious blood,
I was so penitent and so sorry,
I eschewed the path of sin,not to tread.

The moment He laid His life on the cross,
I was healed as per the rule of heavens,
But why I still linger in pain across?
Many a disease still haunts and governs.

That I have failed to realise the wounds,
From Mount Calvary only healing rebounds.
