The Sower !

A farmer on job went out to sow his seed,
Some fell along the road, but goers trampled,
Rest the birds of the sky devoured as their feed,
Some fell on the rock,no moisture so withered.

Some fell among the thorns, grew but chocked,
Others fell on the good soil, brought forth fruit,
The yield was hundred times, never dreamed,
They only persevered to stand on stronger root.

The devil as bird, has eaten away the word of God,
So they are unsaved and became only non-believer,
Who hear the word with joy later as rock only discard,
Cares and riches chocked the thorny minded for ever.

The word of God in our hearts ever a jubilation,
They make us overcome the devil's temptation.

The Persistent Widow !

In a certain town there was an unjust judge,
Who neither feared God nor cared about men,
There was a widow with a long pending grudge,
This judge had to dispense justice to the woman.

'Grant me justice' enormous injustice I foresee,
Often and often she went to the judge crying,
I don't fear God or care anybody yet she bothers me,
I will get her justice in order to stop her coming.

Listen to what the unjust judge said despite,
"Will not God bring justice to his chosen ones?
Who prays to him persistently day and night !"
Abundant justice the Son of Man will give at once.

Pray without ceasing;Ask you will be given,
Seek you will find,Knock you will open heaven.

The Rich Fool !

The fields of certain man yielded in abundance,
No enough rooms to store all the grain,
Thought to pull down the barns for bigger ones,
To store all the crops and goods the fruits of gain.

He chose to speak himself to his own soul,
'Soul you 've many goods, laid up for many years,
Take your ease, eat,be merry hereafter that's goal,'
A retirement with riches invokes no toil,no tears.

The Almighty God spoke to him,"you are a fool",
Tonight God needs your soul, you are to die,
All these treasures could never in favour rule,
Rich yet poor, not rich toward God,hopes belie.

Learn and Look at the birds of the air,
Neither sow nor gather yet they are fair.

The Barren Fig Tree !

Certain man had a loved fig tree,
Planted in his own fertile vineyard,
Came on to seeking fruits without glee,
Found none,in dismay spoke to the guard.

Oh! Vine Dresser! behold these three years,
I have come looking for fruits on this fig tree,
I found none, instead only sorrows and tears,
Why waste soil cut it down in a greater hurry.

Why this barren tree waste the soil?
Lord leave it alone this year also,
I will dig around it,put much more toil,
Also fertilizer to make yield fruit or so.

O Jewish nation ! change or go like fig to the fire,
Fruits of repentance you must bear and acquire.

The Good Shepherd !

I am the good shepherd and the good shepherd,
Lays down his life for his own loved sheep,
He owns sheep in his sheep pen and herd,
Heartless hireling's love only shallow not deep.

Hireling does not own the sheep, the wolf he sees,
The prowling wolf snatches the sheep to scatter,
The hireling is an hireling for at once he flees,
Leaving all the sheep in chaos and distress greater.

I know my own and my own is known of mine,
Me and my Father care for the sheep in our herd,
I have other sheep to bring to one fold, one line,
There will be one voice, one fold and one shepherd.

In love I lay down my life for the cause of my sheep,
For the same cause, I resurrect from the grave deep.

The Lord is my shepherd;I shall not want.He maketh
me to lie down in green pastures.

A Wise Man's Foundation !

Everyone who comes to me to hear,
My words of great truth and only truth,
And commit them into great action here,
He is really like a fountain of youth.

A builder of the house can blessings clock,
Only when dug deep and laid a good foundation,
A beautiful house could emerge on the rock,
Flood came, stream arose,it stood all aberration.

But he who hears and does not do well,
He is like who built the house on the sand,
Flood came, stream arose it immediately fell,
Great was the ruin of the house upon the land.

A faith of good foundation alone survives for ever,
Destruction and God's wrath they encounter never.

Footnote:
Luke 6:47-49
A true believer has deep knowledge into the scriptures
and convinced of the truth.Nominal faith ends in
destruction and wrath of God.

A Lamp Under A Basket !

A man when he has lit a lamp so grand,
Never puts it in a cellar nor under a basket,
But instead he puts it on a grandeur stand,
So that those who enter in may see the light.

Nothing is hidden that will not be revealed,
No secret ever that will not be known,
Anything will come to light, never be consumed,
The lamp of the body is the eye our own.

A good eye makes the whole body full of light,
But evil on the contrary makes it full of darkness,
Men who do not walk in the light so bright,
They only prefer to walk in the darkness.

The light has come in to the world indeed,
Alas ! men love darkness and only evil deed.

Footnote:
" Anyone who claims to be in the light but
hates his brother is still in the darkness."
John 2:9

The Fig Tree !

See the Fig Tree and all those trees,
They are already in budding green,
The leaves are blown by the breeze,
Means summer is near to be seen.

When you see all things happening today,
Be assured, the Kingdom of God is near,
The generations will not pass away,
Until all things are accomplished here.

Even heaven and earth will pass away,
My words will never pass away but live,
No adversary can contradict them on any day,
Budding fig signifies God's Kingdom believe.

Like leaves of vine and fig, stars may wither,
But words of God go on beyond any further.

Footnote:
Luke:21:29-32
Jesus Christ perhaps names the fig tree
specially,because of the prophesy concerning
the end, mentioned in the Prophet Isaiah 34:4

The Good Samaritan !

"What shall I do to inherit eternal life Master?"
Jesus said,'Do as the law says, you will live',
Love God above all, love as yourself your neighbour,
The law so goes but who is my neighbour to believe.

Certain man was going from Jerusalem to Jericho,
He fell among robbers, they stripped laid him aside,
They beat and departed leaving him half dead Lo!
A Priest,a Levite looking cold went to the other side.

A Samaritan alone showed much pity on the victim,
Took the injured on his donkey, admitted him in an inn,
Soothed wounds with oil and wine ,bandaged him,
Paid two Dinarii, promised to pay any more on return.

Good Samaritan of course utmost kindness did bestow,
As a Good Neighbour,on hypocrisy dealt a death blow.

Footnote:
Luke:10:30-37
Jerusalem to Jericho was a road so dangerous,it was called a
bloody pass and a place of robbers' delight. The Priest and Levite
represent the religious elite with full of arrogance and hypocrisy,
Jesus Christ teaches them a good lesson with an outcast good
Samaritan, exposed the jews' numbness to the then prevailing
society
