Disruption took away the roof over head,
Shelter had gone with the violent cyclone,
With tears,barefooted worried they stood,
Trees uprooted, men grieved being all alone.
Nature's rage has been, so unruly and rude,
Turbulent here,in Tamil coastal Cuddalore,
People's toil wasted away to shock so crude,
Thane devastated the Tamil land to a sad lore.
To rebuild victims may need Twenty Five years,
Palm,Cashew and Jack fruit, all trees have gone,
Back to plantation and growth need many tears,
No livelihood,no food,no water,nothing to own.
The soil and the trees their heart and soul,
Lo!Storm by any name plays disastrous role.
