Martha And Maria !

A missed ball and a missed opportunity,
But many more worries did upset her,
When peace so near,a beautious serenity,
Failed to grasp the need of the hour,

Turn around just slipped in to disregard,
But many are like Martha who stand,
Cumbered,looked grim and haggard,
Do not see things so near and so grand.

To lose,to wither and at last to exit,
"The Resurrection and Life " was near,
They looked afar only to be dismayed at,
Only Maria found,Martha worried ever.

Oh ! Redeemed and quenched sat Maria,
Distract'd and disappoint'd stood Martha.
