So suddenly I was in a wheel chair,
To walk like a babe I tried,
How can I disown my legs so bare,
Probably CVA the doctor decried.
Remorse, grief and tears ran over,
The very joy the devil has taken,
Yet my faith waxed in Jesus power,
Made me think that I was forsaken.
The whole family solidly stood behind,
In fervent prayers for mercy and grace,
But like a rock waited for Jesus kind,
Yet no happiness in everyone's face.
Jesus would touch me,on a fine morrow,
To take away the wheel chair of sorrow.
