In the Garden of Gethsemane,
The Son of Man was in prayer,
Decided to lay life and take pain,
Judas kissed Jesus for thirty silver.
Jacob loved Joseph the dreamer,
Honoured him with a coat of colour,
Brothers all, jealous over the younger,
Sold him to Ishmaelite for twenty silver.
Samson loved Delilah a Philistine,
But she loved silver more for ever,
She handed over the subdued herculean,
For one thousand one hundred silver.
Still Caesars and Brutuses are there,
Alas! Mankind is not at all fair.
