A certain noble man went in to far country,
To receive for himself a great kingdom,
Before taking up journey, wanted to give money,
To his ten servants each ten pounds in his wisdom,
Asked them to conduct business till return journey.
But his citizens hated him and sent a message,
"We don't want this man to reign us over",
Having received the kingdom, returned with courage,
He demanded his servants, all accounts to deliver,
To know how they did business to earn their wage.
The first said,' Lord your Mina has earned ten more',
The Lord commended him, gave authority over ten cities,
The second came,'Lord your Mina has earned five more",
The Lord praised him and gave authority over five cities,
Another said," I kept your Mina in my napkin,I restore.
Further he said,'I feared thee, thou art an austere man,
You take where you did not lay, reap where you did not sow',
"Out of your own mouth will I judge you, that I can,"
You wicked servant my character is such that you know,
You should have deposited in the bank at least interest to earn.
Take the Mina from him and give it to him who has ten,
For sure everyone who has, more will be given,
But for him who doesn't have, even that he has will be taken,
My foes who did not want me to reign will not be forgiven,
Kill them before me,to death let them at once be driven.
