Miracles Of Jesus Christ ! ( Haiku Poems )
Wedding at Cana
Wine was running out, Lord made
Water in to wine.
Disciples in wind
Dragged the ship afar, Jesus
Walked on water.
Great storm
Disciples feared the waves,Lord
Calms the storm.
Jesus in the woods
With five loaves and two fishes
Fed five thousand.
Darkness
Two blind men cried to Jesus
Saw the sun light.
Lord in the autumn wild
With seven loaves and fishes
Fed four thousand.
Withered leaf
Widow's son at Nain raised
Spring blossomed.
Withered
With eighteen years of pain healed
Crippled woman.
Pay the tribute
Cast the hook,fish that comes first
Fish with the coin.
No fruits
Jesus cursed fig to wither
The barren fig tree.
Heal on any day
Ox fell in pit,we pull out
Be it sabbath day.
Sorrowing
Lord can make cherry blossom
Huge catch of fish.
He gave thanks
But where are the nine Lord asked
Good Samaritan.
Withered hand
Stretched his hand to whole

Preface-Miracles Of Jesus ! ( Poetry )
The miracles of Jesus are the supernatural deeds of Jesus Christ that has been recorded in The New Testament, by the Gospel Writers,Mark,Matthew,Luke and John.Jesus' miraculous healings are in fulfilment of prophecy of of the prophet Issiah.Jesus has been portrayed as Messiah in the Hebrew scriptures.Jesus performed many miracles, demonstrating his power over nature and spirits and thereby confirmed that the Kingdom of God is at hand.

As the devil was cast out,the devil ran,

Raising Lazarus From The Dead !
Mary and Martha belonged to Bethany a town,
Mary anointed the Lord with ointment,
Wiped his feet with her hair in true devotion,
Whose brother Lazarus was sick,message sent.
Lord,Lazarus whom you love is in sickness tied,
Sickness not unto death,on hearing said Jesus,
But in the glory of God,Son of man to be glorified,
Jesus loved,Martha,Mary,and brother Lazarus.
Jesus heard the news,was held up for two days,
Our friend Lazarus sleeps I go wake him up,
Lazarus is dead, Jesus said with a sad face,
Jesus came four days after the burial took up.
Jerusalem was at fifteen furlongs distant,
Jews came to Mary and Martha to comfort,
Martha,on Jesus coming she went and met,
Mary was in the house in sadness sat still.
Martha said to Jesus, if you had been here,
Lazarus would not have died,she did ascertain,
Even now if you ask God,God will truly endear,
Jesus said unto her,your brother shall rise again.
He shall rise again in resurrection,I know Lord !
I am resurrection,believe,he shall live never be dry,
Whosoever lives and believes in me will never die,
I believe that you are the Christ,the Son of God.
When Mary saw Jesus she fell down at his feet,
Had you been here,Lazarus would not have died,
Seeing her weeping,Jesus was troubled in spirit,
Jesus shed tears,where Lazarus had been laid ?
Jesus came there to the grave,it was only a cave,
A stone lay upon it,Jesus still was in groaning,
Jesus said,"Take away the stone "orders he gave,
Martha said,four days have gone,body be stinking.
If you believe,you should see the glory of God,
Where the dead was laid,they took away the stone,
Jesus lifted up his eyes in thanks to God,did nod
"Lazarus come forth "Jesus said in a voice,his own.
Lazarus came forth hand and foot bound,
Face was bound about with a napkin round
Jesus said unto them"Loose him and let him go",
Lazarus came alive,to death Jesus dealt a death blow.

Man Born Blind Healed !
Jesus came across a man who was born blind,
Who has sinned? this man or his parent,
None sinned,in him manifest how God is kind,
I must do the works of him,that me sent.
"I am the light of the world "Jesus did say,
He spat on the ground,clay of the spittle done,
He anointed the eyes of the blind with clay,
"Go and wash in the pool of Siloam"there and then.
He went his way therefore,washed came seeing,
People asked him how his eyes were opened ?
Jesus made clay anointed my eyes,asking
Me to go to Siloam,I went and get washed .
To my surprise,"I received my sight ",
He repeated to the pharisees how he got sight,
In between Pharisees there started an in fight,
Born blind said,"Jesus was his healer ,a prophet"
Jesus when saw him,'Do you believe the Son of God',
He replied,'I believe' and worshipped the Lord,
In judgment that they which see might not see,
That they which see might be made blind,no glee.

Sickman At The Pool Of Bethesda !
Bethesda a pool where in crowds ever witnessed,
Near the sheep market with five porches greater,
There impotent folk blind,halt and all withered,
Ever on wait for an angel to trouble the water,
In the troubled water who enters first is made whole,
There a man lay with infirmity for thirty eighty years,
Jesus intended to make him whole heart and soul,
A long wait but someone else steps in ere so tears.
Jesus to him said, 'Arise,take your bed and walk ",
The man was made whole he walked without talk,
The Jews opposed,is it lawful to take your bed,
On Sabbath,he that made whole to me so said.
Afterward Jesus found him in the temple,well
You are made whole ,'Sin no more 'its a breather,
Lest a worst thing may on you come,Jesus did tell,
Despite he said to the Jews,Jesus was his healer.

Jesus said except signs and wonders,
You 'll not believe,nobleman did feel.
Go your way your son lives,he believed,
He was going,came his servant and wished,
Your son lives, yesterday at the seventh hour
the fever left,Jesus uttered at the same hour.
It's better even without signs and wonders,
When we do believe, faith never bewilders.

Climate turned serious,one smote the servant,
Of high priest, cut off his right ear,an amiss,
Jesus touched his ear, healed,so benevolent.
The chief priest,captains of the temples and elders,
Looking at Jesus asked, you as against a thief came,
I was with you there then peaceful,now it wonders,
Its now your hour,the power of darkness play game.

Crippled Woman !
Jesus was in a synagogue on the sabbath day,
A woman with infirmity for eighteen long years,
Stood bowed she could not lift up,looked gray
Jesus called her to him to put an end to tears.
You are loosed from your infirmity,laid hand,
She was made straight and glorified God,
Healing on sabbath day echoed in all the land,
Synagogue was indignant towards the Lord.
Jesus replied in their own coin and did call,
Hypocrite,does not each one of you on sabbath,
Loose his ox or his ass or sheep from the stall
For watering,what a dual conduct of wrath.
May be sabbath,but Abraham's daughter in tears,
Loosed from the Satan ,ended her pain of years.

He has taught as one with authority a lot,
There was a man with unclean spirit in.
He cried out , leave us alone Jesus of Nazareth,
I know thee," You are the holy one of God,",
Jesus rebuked him to silence to breath,
The unclean spirit torn him,loud voice heard.
The devil came out all were amazed,
And among themselves they questioned,
What doctrine is this even evil spirit obeyed,
His fame spread through out Galilee,ventured.
The people and scribes in the synagogue,
Tried to find fault but has nothing to argue.

The more they cried out,"O! Lord Son of David ",
Jesus stood still,"What shall I do to you ",

Jesus had on them a great compassion,

Sore vexed,he falls in to fire and water on,
Your disciples could not cure him,a chronic.
"O! faithless and perverse generation,
How long shall I be with you "Jesus asked,
Jesus rebuked the devil to condemnation,
The devil exited out of him and departed.
Disciples asked why we can't cast out devil,
If you have faith as a grain mustard seed,
And say to this mountain remove it will,
Nothing is impossible only faith is the need.
Anything is possible in fasting and prayer,
You will see that faith works out wonder.

Her young daughter vexed with devil met the master,
Heard of Jesus fell at his feet and did speak,

Jesus severely tested her faith by being so silent,
Children's bread to throw to dogs,not a good omen,

Behold there was a man deformed,
When Jesus went into the synagogue,
He saw a man with hand withered,
Is it lawful to heal on sabbath,did argue.
A man's sheep that falls in to a pit,
Will he not lay hold on it and lift it,
How much men is better than a sheep,
Its lawful to do good on sabbath than to weep.
Stretch forth your hand and he stretched,
He was restored whole as the hand other,
Pharisees thought the sabbath Jesus breached,
Jesus withdrew to a far of place, a move wiser.
A great multitude thronged and followed,
Then and there, all of them Jesus loved.

Man With Palsy !
They brought to him a man sick of the palsy,
Jesus seeing his faith said," Be of good cheer ",
Your sins are forgiven,grace people may see,
The scribes thought evil,to him it was clear,
Wherefore you think evil,which is easier?
To forgive sins or to say arise and walk,
Son of man has power to forgive sins here,
Arise, take up your bed and go,so he did walk,
Scribes were silenced,good hearted were in cheer,
Jesus proved his authority and in deed he did talk.

In to the country of Gadarenes Jesus came,
He met a man from tombs with unclean spirit,
No man could bind him,such a fearful name,
He could break the fettered chains in no minute.
Tombs and mountains his dwellings he made,
Crying and cutting himself with hard stone,
Seeing Jesus afar,ran to him,worship he paid,
"O ! Son of God,torment me not"he did groan.
"Come out of the man you unclean spirit "
Jesus asked,What's your name?he said "Legion"
For we are many,this country we can't disinherit,
So send us to the swine herd in the mountain region.
Jesus gave them leave they entered in to swine,
The herd of swine ran violently in to sea,choked
Those who fed the swine out of fear fled to define,
All the people came to Jesus before he embarked.
All of them saw the man who was possessed,
Sitting calm,clothed and in his right mind,
Jesus asked him,go home narrate what encounter'd
How the Lord was to him compassionate and kind.

Peter's Mother-in-Law Healed !
When Jesus came in to Peter's house there,
Found Peter's mother-in-law was sick of a fever,
No one was there to minister the master's care,
Jesus touched her hand the fever at once left her.
Peter's mother-in-law arose and she ministered,
In the even people came to him sick and possessed,
He cast out the spirit with his word ,got redressed,

Roman centurion's Servant !
At Capernaum Jesus Christ entered,
Beseeching Jesus a centurion came grim,
"Lord my servant at home a palsy is tormented",
Jesus said," I will come and heal him ".
" I am not worthy that you come under my roof "
Lord speak the word,my servant shall be healed,
Being a man of authority my soldiers are a proof,
If to one I say go he goes,thus obedience realised.
When Jesus heard it he simply marvelled,
Such a great faith I have not found in Israel,
Jesus said to them to those who followed,
Such faith got his servant healing,not a tale,
Jesus said,"Go your way as you have believed,
In the selfsame hour your servant was healed".

Jesus went up to the mountain apart to pray,
Evening came,Jesus was alone, wind was wild.
The ship was tossed in the boisterous wind,
Jesus went to them in the fourth watch of night,
By walking on the sea on those waves so unkind,
Disciples were troubled at the uncommon sight.
It's a spirit,walking on water Peter cried for fear,
Jesus spoke, It is I,be not afraid,be of good cheer,
Then bid me Lord to come unto thee on the water,
Jesus said, 'come' Peter walked on the water in fear.
Jesus stretched forth his hand to save sinking Peter,
O! men of little faith why do you doubt your master ?

Huge Catch Of Fish !
Jesus entered into Simon Peter's ship,
Thrust out a little just from the land,
Taught God's word to those out of the ship,
Asked Simon,'go to the deep' from the sand.
In the deep Jesus asked to let down the net,
Simon, "Master we 've toiled all the night "
To our dismay we 've taken nothing but yet.
At thy word I let down the net in this site.
Multitude of fishes in the net they did blink,
The net began to break they called the helper,
They filled both ships that were about to sink,
Fell down at Jesus' knee marvelled Simon Peter.
"Lord depart from me for I am a sinful man"
Astonishment in their happy faces simply ran.

Conscious water was made into wine it blushed,
The governor said to the groom of the wine finer,
Superb wine first now you 've differently blessed.

Parables of Jesus Christ in Modern Poetry is my dream project.I hope to have executed it to my heart's satisfaction.Parable is a story with a message of higher spiritual truth.The divine words of Jesus I have brought into poetry in chastity and purity.

It bears no fruits cut it down
The Barren Fig Tree.
The Prodigal Son
Back to his father worse ends
Spring dawns.
Mustard seed
Seed so small, so large a tree
Small faith for big grace.

Parables Of Jesus Christ In Haiku !
The seed
Who plants and waters is nothing,
Growth is God's.
She anointed me
Her sins are forgiven,
Dead but now alive.
Behold your talent
I safely hid in the ground,
Slothful servant.
Drop of water
To drench his tongue in flame
Rich man to Lazarus.
New and old
New, Christ's work of atonement
Matchless.
Lamps fully oiled
Five wise virgins with the groom
Be ever watchful.
Vineyard laborers
Lord paid them equally
Last will be the first.
Pharisee
Prayed with pride but
Tax man was humble.
Harvest time
Wheat and weeds found together
Weeds to fire.
Pharisee
The yeast of bloated dogma
Of arrogance.
Mustard seed
Seed so small,so large a tree
Small faith for big grace.
Seeds
That fell on the good soil
Yielded hundred times.
The widow
Prayed for justice with the judge
Persistent prayer.
Oh! Rich fool
God needs your soul tonight
Poor toward God.

Tree in summer
Good man bears good things,
Bears good fruits.
A bad tree
A bad man bears evil,
Bears bad fruits.
Tree good or bad
Is known only by its fruits,
So also man.
Hypocrite !
Fails to see plank in his eye,
But specks the other.
Can a blind
Lead a blind,even in the sun
Fall is certain.
Camel may enter
In to the eye of needle,
Rich,not to heaven.
Who forsakes all
Receives hundred fold,
Eternal life sure.
I am the vine
Branches that bear not fruits go,
To eternal fire.
Love one another
As I have loved and laid life,
Withered.
Judgment day
Sheeps and goats are separated
Righteous elevated.
Autumn withers
Gave me meat,for thirsty,
Eternal water.
I was naked
Fall in life yet clothed me,
Sick,came to me.
Poverty
Took care of the least,
Sky high rewards.
Poor for the feast
Invite the maimed,lame and blind,
Spring smiles.
Why fasting
The bridegroom is with us,
Spring blooms.
Kingdom like snow
That falls,with him we gather,
Scatter not.
They that are whole
Need no physician,I came,
For the withered.
