Jesus back from Jericho a multitude followed,
Two blind men were sitting by the way side,
They heard that Jesus by their side passed,
Cried,"Have mercy on us O! Son of David ".
The multitude rebuked them when Jesus drew,
The more they cried out,"O! Lord Son of David ",
Jesus stood still,"What shall I do to you ",
"Lord our eyes may be opened "they begged.
Jesus had on them a great compassion,
He touched their eyes,they received sight,
There bore witness to Jesus in great ovation,
They followed,world looked beautiful and bright.
Oh ! everywhere preaching and healing,
The testament of Jesus ever enriching.
