Raising Lazarus From The Dead !

Mary and Martha belonged to Bethany a town,
Mary anointed the Lord with ointment,
Wiped his feet with her hair in true devotion,
Whose brother Lazarus was sick,message sent.

Lord,Lazarus whom you love is in sickness tied,
Sickness not unto death,on hearing said Jesus,
But in the glory of God,Son of man to be glorified,
Jesus loved,Martha,Mary,and brother Lazarus.

Jesus heard the news,was held up for two days,
Our friend Lazarus sleeps I go wake him up,
Lazarus is dead, Jesus said with a sad face,
Jesus came four days after the burial took up.

Jerusalem was at fifteen furlongs distant,
Jews came to Mary and Martha to comfort,
Martha,on Jesus coming she went and met,
Mary was in the house in sadness sat still.

Martha said to Jesus, if you had been here,
Lazarus would not have died,she did ascertain,
Even now if you ask God,God will truly endear,
Jesus said unto her,your brother shall rise again.

He shall rise again in resurrection,I know Lord !
I am resurrection,believe,he shall live never be dry,
Whosoever lives and believes in me will never die,
I believe that you are the Christ,the Son of God.

When Mary saw Jesus she fell down at his feet,
Had you been here,Lazarus would not have died,
Seeing her weeping,Jesus was troubled in spirit,
Jesus shed tears,where Lazarus had been laid ?

Jesus came there to the grave,it was only a cave,
A stone lay upon it,Jesus still was in groaning,
Jesus said,"Take away the stone "orders he gave,
Martha said,four days have gone,body be stinking.

If you believe,you should see the glory of God,
Where the dead was laid,they took away the stone,
Jesus lifted up his eyes in thanks to God,did nod
"Lazarus come forth "Jesus said in a voice,his own.

Lazarus came forth hand and foot bound,
Face was bound about with a napkin round
Jesus said unto them"Loose him and let him go",
Lazarus came alive,to death Jesus dealt a death blow.
